ERASMUS+ 'HOW TO CHANGE THE LIFESTYLE OF YOUNG PEOPLE?'

MOBILITY OF YOUTH WORKERS

MYC spearheaded a transformative initiative aimed at inspiring young individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles through their participation in the 'How to Change the Lifestyle of Young People?' youth workers' mobility project in the Czech Republic.

ABOUT PROJECT

The MYC team from Turkey participated in the youth workers' mobility project titled 'How to Change the Lifestyle of Young People?' hosted in the Czech Republic. The project aimed to motivate young individuals towards adopting healthier lifestyles, emphasizing the importance of personal well-being, disease prevention, sustainability, and societal quality of life. With three members representing MYC Turkey, the project facilitated the exchange of best practices among 39 workers from 13 partner organizations. Through practical activities, participants acquired new skills to inspire lifestyle changes in youth, fostering personal development and community engagement.

The project's overarching goal was to empower organizations in guiding young people through challenging times and promoting their active involvement in shaping their future on both national and European levels. Targeting youth workers, local officials, teachers, student representatives, and parliament members, the eight-day program in Jindřichov Hradec utilized informal education methods such as presentations, group discussions, simulations, and outdoor activities. Held at Holenský dvůr, 10 kilometers from Jindrichuv Hradec, the project provided a dynamic platform for participants to enhance their capabilities in youth guidance and community leadership.
