Holenský dvůr/ Czech republic
From 3rd to 14th May 2024, an international Erasmus+ project titled "How to change the lifestyle of young people?" took place at Holensky dvůr near Jindřichův Hradec. This project welcomed 33 youth workers from 12 European countries who worked together on themes related to improving the lifestyle of the young generation.
Project objectives
The main objectives of the project were to raise awareness among youth workers about the importance of healthy lifestyles, to promote sustainable living and to motivate participants to actively engage in making changes in their communities. The programme included a series of interactive workshops, group discussions, sports activities and creative workshops to inspire participants to make positive changes.
Location and organisation
Holenský dvůr, a beautiful location surrounded by nature, provided the ideal backdrop for this event. The peaceful surrounding contributed to the focus on educational activities while offering a space for relaxation and informal gathering of participants.
The programme also included a trip to nearby Jindřichův Hradec, where participants were able to explore the historic city centre, including the famous castle and other sights. This trip enriched the project with a cultural dimension and allowed the participants to get to know Czech history and traditions better.
International cooperation
Teams from different European countries participated in the project, which provided a unique opportunity for intercultural dialogue and exchange of experiences. Participants discussed different approaches to healthy lifestyles, shared best practices from their home countries and sought common solutions to current challenges.
Impact and conclusion
Erasmus+ project "How to change the lifestyle of young people?" has had a positive impact on all participants and the organisations involved. Participants not only took away new knowledge and skills, but also friendships across borders and inspiration for further activities in their communities.
The final presentation of the results showed that youth workers can be a driving force for change if they have the right tools and support. This project was a great example of how international cooperation can contribute to addressing important societal issues.
